Today we took a drive thru the Smokey Mountain National Park. Beautiful, tree-covered mountains, waterfalls, swift-flowing streams rushing over rocks. On the other side of the park is the Cherokee Indian reservation and the town of Cherokee NC., where we visited a Cherokee village recreation. Took a bunch of pictures in the park and village, and took some video of some of the rapids we passed.
It ended up being a long day, but the best one since our arrival in Gatlinburg.
